Blue Canoe Is The PLACE To Stay!

We have stayed at The Blue Canoe several times and each time expectations were exceeded! The place is beautiful, clean and there are so many extra items provided as well. The screened in porch is fantastic for a rainy day or just a pleasant evening looking out on the lake.Donna is so pleasant to work with and all I can say is do NOT miss staying here! A great romantic getaway or a visit with friends. Everything and anything that you may need is there, except you. I love this I have stayed many places in Hocking Hills and for a couple or 2there is no better place. Highly reccommended.

Amazing Stay at Blue Canoe Cottage

As a frequent visitor of the hocking hills area, we have visited many cabins and cottages. Blue Canoe is hands down my favorite! We stayed for 11 days, most of which were bad weather days, yet there was always something to do there. Donna and her husband were absolutely wonderful making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It was so comfortable and the hot tub was AMAZING. I will definately be back for more Blue Canoe!!!

This is a beautiful place to stay and the owners really thought of every detail! The living room is cozy and the fireplace makes it especially welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked, making it easy for us to cook during our stay. The hot tub and game room are both highlights as well. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We would return again.

Donna is a tremendous inn keeper with a great sense of what makes a relaxing environment. The cottage, amenities and style within made the two night stay perfect for my wife and visiting son. It was a perfect base to knock out our winter hikes in the beautiful park, visit excellent restaurants and watch the stars above a blanket of snow. Thanks again, looking forward to the next time. Best, Blaine and Jeana

I highly recommend staying at the Blue Canoe Cottage. Lots of space, very clean. Beds were very comfortable and there are a ton of extra pillows, towels, robes, etc. You will find lots of little niceties like snacks, games, books, CDs, and DVDs. Hot tub, pool table, air hockey, dart board and more made the game room fun. Great location; walk down the back hill for access to the lake (kayaks provided!) or walk a few minutes down the road for boat rentals. Shopping is minutes away by car. Hocking Hills is very close for hiking, site seeing, zip lining, horseback riding, etc. Beach is a 5 minute drive down Lake Logan Rd (small but sandy and clean). So much to do but the cottage is so nice you don't want to leave it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and the owner greeted us there as well when we arrived. She made us feel welcome and showed us around. She had the cottage well supplied. We really did not even have to bring anything with us. We would stay here again and we would highly recommend anyone else to stay here as well.

We have stayed in many cabins over the years visiting hocking hills and this one has been the very best! Donna leaves little touches all throughout the cabin to help make your stay feel extra special.

Words cannot express the beauty of this place or the hospitality that was given. However, I will try my best to sum up into words the experience me and my friend had. It was truly a beautiful place: everything from the colors, to the comfy chairs, and the AMAZING bed!!!! The hosts were wonderful, very welcoming, which makes sense, since the home was very welcoming. They make sure that you have everything you need to feel at home, including a small selection of movies, music, a fully stocked kitchen (minus the food. The game room was awesome, we enjoyed a game of pool and darts, followed by some down time in the hot tub!!! I could go on and on, on how great it was, but don't want to spoil it! Book your getaway to the Blue Canoe Lakeview Cottage and you will be blown away, I guarantee. I plan on going back around December, since I loved it so much!!!

This was the perfect way to relax after a long week. The cottage even prettier in person than it was in the pictures. Everything you could ever need was already thought of and waiting when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Blue Canoe was perfect. The weather was awesome, the house felt just like home only better. All of the details were so well thought out. We truly felt at home. I would recommend this place to anyone I know. I'm not sure if Donna was the owner, but I would even be interested in buying this property if it would e considered.

I booked this little cottage on the lake for a weekend for my husband and I on his 40th birthday. After a summer of working long hours we needed to reconnect and why not do some fishing while we're at it. Once there it was evident how much Donna cares for her guests and the purpose of their visits. She provided so much more than the average and she's such a sweet person to deal with. Everything you need if not provided is just a few miles into town. Yet you still feel like your secluded. We will be going back again for sure.

The Blue Canoe Cottage is the most beautiful and relaxing place to visit. You will only need to bring food and yourself, Donna has thought of everything else, from a breakfast basket to a smores basket. You and your family will have a pleasant relaxing time in this beautiful cottage.

My sisters, mom and I went away for the weekend to Hocking Hills and were lucky enough after a long search to find Blue Canoe Cottage. It was a great location close to stores and restaurants but not a far drive from the hiking areas in the state park either. We didn't have great weather but the house had everything, the screened in porch was lovely as was the fire pit. The home owners really make sure you have everything that you need right there. We enjoyed it and will recommend it to others.

Wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Blue Canoe Lakeview Cottage. The property was very clean and well decorated. It was perfect for relaxing. We were able to light a fire, enjoy the hot tub, and stay close to restaurants and hiking attractions. Perfect location and totally worth the price based on the entertainment and luxury that this cottage provides. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.
